Feel like you’ve had a novel in you since forever? Tired of making excuses for why it never gets written?
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a global challenge in which hundreds of thousands of people across the world try to write a 50,000-word draft of their novel.
DWL will be organising NaNoWriMo write-ins at the British Council Library, Karachi, every Saturday in November. We will be sitting together from 3 pm to 5.30 pm, hammering away at our keyboards and trying to hit those word counts.
When you run dry, we’ll give you prompts. When you’re stuck, we’ll give you ideas. When you’re down, we’ll give you encouragement. And when you’re doing amazingly, we’ll give you shiny stickers.
If you’re a member of the library, join us for the kick-off party on Saturday, 28th October, where we’ll be discussing the phenomenon that is NaNoWriMo!
