And nothing can hold you back if you choose to follow your heart. And guess what! you might get a chance to experience snow fall at Khunjerab Pass too if you’re lucky enough!

Hunza Valley: The much renowned Hunza valley is often referred to as heaven on earth, enveloped in the grand Himalayas and the Karakoram mountain ranges, this place has been a great tourist attraction for many years. It is a fairy tale land surrounded by beautiful rugged & snow capped mountains. Only at a distance of 100 Kms. from Gilgit, Hunza is a small town on Karakorum Highway. Hunza is undoubtedly the most Photogenic point in the world. Places in Hunza Karimabad: As described above is the main bazaar of Hunza full of colorful shops with local dry fruits (Dried Apricots, Apricot Nut, Almonds, Walnuts Mulberry, etc.) At the end of bazaar is the Baltit village and Baltit fort which are restored by the Aga Khan fund for Culture & heritage. The fort has been brought into a guided museum you can spend time in for visiting different sections of the fort and viewing the slide show in the small hall of the fort.

Khunjerab Pass (Pak-China Border): The Karakoram Highway (KKH) is the highest paved international road in the world. It connects Tibet of China and Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an elevation of 4,693 metres (15,397 ft). Connecting China’s Xinjiangregion with Gilgit–Baltistan region of Pakistan, the road is a popular tourist attraction. Due to its high elevation and the difficult conditions in which it was constructed, it is referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World.

Naltar Valley: Renowned for its flourishing wildlife, spectacular scenery and mountain vistas, Naltar is a scenic valley near Gilgit, Pakistan. There are three lakes in the Naltar valley known as ‘Bashkiri Lakes’ at a distance of 13 kilometers (08 mi) from Naltar Bala. The road from village to the lakes is nonmetallic and narrow alongside a stream throughout this road coming from the mountains.
